Thank you for registering for Wine101!

I'm excited you'll be joining me for my online class, Wine101: Food & Wine Pairing, on Thursday, March 12 at 7pm CST! 

You'll be receiving an email shortly from Demio, the service I'm using for the class. The email will include a link to the class, and you won't need to download any software. Instead you can view the webinar and participate from any web browser!

As I will try to make this interactive, I hope you can join live, have a bottle or two of wine open, and pull together a few easy-to-find food components.

Suggested Wines & Foods:
  • Dry/off-dry acidic white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Grigio)
  • Dry/off-dry tannic red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah/Shiraz, Malbec)
  • Sweeter white or red wine (Riesling, Moscato, Dessert Wine,  Late-Harvested Sweet Red)
  • Lemon wedge
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • Spicy Cheese or Hot Sauce on a Cracker

I understand you may not want to open three bottles of wine by yourself (or maybe you do!), but having at least one bottle of wine will be valuable as we experiment with our palates! You can always try the experiments I suggest later as well.
